Latvian Exports to Switzerland on the Rise!

On March 25, the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Latvia and Riga Business Chamber brought together entrepreneurs to discuss business opportunities in Switzerland. In 2024, Latvian exports to Switzerland reached €69.3 million, marking a 5% increase compared to the previous year. While this is a positive trend, experts believe there is even greater potential for growth.

Armands Gūtmanis, Chairman of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Latvia, emphasizes: “Latvia’s export potential to Switzerland is significantly higher than we are currently utilizing.”

Gatis Silakaktiņš, Chairman of the Riga Business Chamber, adds: “Strengthening our presence in Switzerland opens new horizons for Latvian businesses, offering stability and long-term growth.”

Bruno Kaspars, Board Member of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Latvia, highlights Switzerland’s strengths: “Switzerland’s export-driven economy offers excellent opportunities for Latvian companies to enter a stable and competitive market.”
